in END OF THE YEAR PRESENTATION
Se ha celebrado la fiesta final de curso en el Illawarra Yacht Club de Warrawong
Este año participaron más de 150 personas en la gala.
Como cada año ha sido un momento en que los miembros de la escuela acudieron a esta cena anual y donde los alumnos hicieron sus presentaciones y actuaciones en español
.
Es un momento para compartir con las familias lo que aprendemos en las clases del Aula de Lengua y Cultura Españolas de Wollongong.

CHILDREN CLASSES
WHAT IS AN ALCE?
ALCE Classes are part of the Spanish Department of Education abroad with an agreement with the education authorities of Australia.
In the classes we offer tutorial to students in Spanish.
These classes are based in a curriculum plan.
WHERE IS THE PROGRAM?
In Australia we have the same program in:
Adelaide,Brisbane,Canberrra,Melburne,Geelong,Perth,Sydney,Wollongong.
WHAT ARE WE DOING IN THE CLASSES?
The teachers in charge of the classes are professionals in Spanish teaching.In our classes we use a communicative approach, underlining an active and participative role.
We base our curriculum plan on: new technologies,games,role plays, songs,arts….
WHY AND WHAT FOR?
-To maintain live language and cultural links with Spain.
-To Open new intellectual and cultural abilities.
-To Prepare students for better international and qualified jobs possibilities with the skill of another language spoken by more than 450 millions people in the world.
-To Relate the students to their heritage roots.
-All of this in a relaxed atmosphere but in a motivated and attractive learning process.
HOW CAN YOUR CHILD ACCESS TO THE ALCE?
You need to prove Spanish nationality or Spanish direct heritage. The enrolment and instruction is free.We are open to enrol new students during the whole school year.

WHO IS THE TEACHER?
Tomas Pardo is our teacher in Wollongong.He has more than 15 years of experience in teaching languages in Public Schools in Spain ,as well as, in Bilingual Programs ( Spanish and English) in California State Schools and UK colleges.

NIVEL I-O Martes (Tuesdays) 4: 00-6:30 pm
NIVEL II Miércoles ( Wednesdays) 4:00-6:30 pm
NIVEL III Jueves ( Thursdays) 5:00-8:00 pm
NIVEL IV Lunes (Mondays) 5:00-8:00 pm
ADULT CLASSES

We are offering Spanish classes to Adults , Everybody is welcome to join us!!
ENROLMENT
If you are interested we are open to receive applications throughout the shool year. The classes are free and fully funded by the Spanish Government.
LEVELS
We have three levels : Initial, Intermediate and Advanced.
In our beginners level we will start with the basic of the language .
In Intermediate and Advanced we expect you to have a base, so that you can follow the classes in Spanish with some English support.
METHODOLOGY
The methodology used is the Communicative approach : Videos, games, projects, etc.
THE GOAL
The main goal for our students is to be prepared to take examinations for the Spanish certificates and diplomas (DELE)

CLASSES SCHEDULE 2011
Beginners : Fridays : 4:30-6:30
Intermediate : Tuesdays : 6:30-8:30
Advanced: Wednesdays: 6:30-8:30
First day of class on March 1,2 and 4. Please feel free to come and register in the class, if possible.
